Students from Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sport Sciences achieved outstanding success at the Turkish Universities Taekwondo Championship, securing 1st place in the men's category, 3rd place in women's category and becoming overall champions among universities in the general classification.

At the championship hosted by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University between April 11–13 in Muğla, the following students from the Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sport Sciences won medals: Alihan Kuru, Enes Kaplan, and Tuanna Nazlı Kesgin earned gold medals; Gökhan Emre Kesgin and Kardelen Demir secured silver medals; and Tarık Altıngöz took home a bronze medal.
