In collaboration with Ondokuz Mayıs University Technology Transfer Office (OMU-TTO) and the Karadeniz Advanced Technology Research and Application Center (KİTAM), the "Multidisciplinary Molecular Techniques and Bioinformatics Training Series – I: PCR, Sequencing, and Bioinformatics Applied and Theoretical Course" was organized.
The training program, held at KİTAM, began with opening speeches by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kubilay Yıldırım and OMU-TTO Director İrem Köse. The opening session also featured OMU-TTO Board Vice Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Çalışkan and Board Member Prof. Dr. Burcu Onuk.
Participants from Samsun, Sinop, Zonguldak, and Ordu attended the three-day training, where they gained both theoretical and practical knowledge in molecular genetic analysis, PCR techniques, sequencing, and bioinformatics.
On the first day, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şengül Tural, Prof. Dr. Sezgin Güneş, Dr. Eda Uğurtay, Dr. Hilal Koyuncu, and Dr. Tuğba Keskin provided in-depth training on multidisciplinary molecular techniques and bioinformatics.
The program will continue with interactive sessions focusing on advanced analytical techniques, allowing participants to enhance their scientific knowledge and skills further.
