The Project named "Sign to Science: Science Education Portal", prepared by Elif Karacakoyun, an undergraduate student in the Department of Science Education at the Faculty of Education under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ergun, came in second in the Regional Exhibition organized by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).

In the exhibition, where only the winners of the preliminaries which were held in four regions across Turkey were invited, the project called “Sign to Science: Science Education Portal" was awarded the second prize in the education category in Ankara Region.

The finals of the competition will be held on 22-27 September 2020 in Gaziantep, the Ghazi city of the Turkish National Struggle, within the scope of TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival.
