A cooperation protocol was signed between Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) and the Turkish Red Crescent. The signed protocol aims for university staff and students to become regular blood donors.

At the signing ceremony held in the Rectorate Senate Hall, the protocol was signed by OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın and Turkish Red Crescent Samsun Branch President Onur Çoban.

As part of the protocol, Turkish Red Crescent personnel will conduct training sessions on the importance of blood donation. Additionally, informative sessions and blood donation campaigns will be organized at the beginning of each new academic year.

The protocol ceremony, aimed at enhancing the relationship between the two institutions, concluded with exchanging gifts and a commemorative photo session.
